My mission is to create travel experiences that are as individual as the people taking them. I take the time to understand each client's hopes, interests and travel style, then carefully design a journey that feels personal, authentic and effortless from start to finish. I believe the best holidays are not simply booked—they are thoughtfully created.

What inspired you to be a travel consultant?
I started Tortuga Travel because I believe the best holidays aren't about rushing from one attraction to the next—they're about experiencing a destination properly. Some of my favourite travel memories have come from eating where the locals eat, discovering hidden places, and taking the time to enjoy a slower pace of life. I wanted to help others experience travel in the same way.
What do you love most about working as an independent travel consultant?
The knowledge that we can offer our clients full protection through ATOL and PTS
Is there anything you specialise in?
Tortuga Travel specialises in bespoke slow luxury holidays for travellers who value authentic experiences over crowded tourist attractions. We create tailor-made holidays for people who want to immerse themselves in a destination, discover hidden gems, enjoy exceptional local food, stay in carefully selected accommodation, and travel at a more relaxed pace. Every itinerary is designed around your interests, with personal service from start to finish.
Top 3 Destinations I Can't Stop Talking About
Barbados - an island full of character, from colourful fishing villages and lively local rum shops to fantastic restaurants and warm Bajan hospitality. The Greek Islands (Beyond Santorini) - Think traditional tavernas, hidden beaches, friendly locals and authentic Greek experiences. Essaouira – Morocco’s Laid-Back Coastal Escape What connects these destinations is what Tortuga Travel is all about: authentic experiences, incredible food, welcoming people and the chance to travel beyond the obvious. These are places where the journey matters as much as the destination, and where slowing down allows you to discover something truly memorable.

My Travel Personality in Three Words

What has been your favourite holiday you’ve ever taken?

Do you have a travel tip or hack that always makes a holiday smoother?
Airlines are incredibly reliable, but delays and misplaced luggage can happen. Packing one complete change of clothes, essential toiletries, any medication and your phone charger in your hand luggage means your holiday can still begin comfortably, even if your suitcase arrives a day later. It's a small habit that can save a lot of stress—and it's one of the easiest ways to start your holiday on the right foot.

If you could recommend one hidden gem or must-visit place, where would it be?

What's your favourite travel snack, guilty-pleasure holiday read, or holiday cocktail?

Beach lounger, city explorer, or off-the-beaten-track adventurer - which best describes you?
